the masters are IN.

Hey You!

It is with so much joy and excitement that I share with you that I’ve received my songs fully mastered. They are all done. They are all ready. Now it’s time to pave the path for their release.

I am in love with these songs and I cannot wait to share them with you. The man who mastered them is a shining veteran of his trade, and to my awe and delight, had some really positive things to say about these tunes.

There’s still a long road ahead to prepare for the release: marketing and advertising, merch and press releases, content creation for socials and streaming platforms, uploads and the monstrous pit of back-end administrative details.
But, having the masters means I can actually DO all of that tedious work. I actually love this phase, even though it’s admittedly a slog. It’s just a lot of clicka-clacka that my house-cleaning and detail-oriented brain really loves. I just need to carve out the time and attention to DO IT. The dishes can wait. The laundry can wait … pah, who am I kidding!? The laundry’s in the wash, the dishes are soaking, the house is tidied, my face is washed, my hair is szhuzhed and I’m totally ready. HAH!

I’m really on fire, folks. And this fire feels good and supported. This fire feels sustained and sincere. It doesn’t feel like that start and stop sputtering of damp-kindle creativity that I’ve experienced so often in my past. It feels holistic, nourished, regulated, and abundant. And a huge part of this level and loving LIGHT is this community here. YOU. You have been so patient, so positive, so encouraging, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We’re not quite at the finish line yet, but we’ve just rounded the bend to where we can actually see it.
